Challenge
Audio fanciers are almost demanding on the sound quality close to the scene. However, they have to spend much time downloading high quality audio which can not be provided on mobile devices. How to transfer lossless audio on device at high speed, is the most important question in the process of designing.
Insight
Bluetooth is wireless and works similarly to Wi-Fi but at much lower power. The development of SHDC Bluetooth protocol means that digital audio transmission can take place at a rate where the distortion introduced is on the level of two orders of magnitude lower than was ever previously capable.
Appearance
This cabinet HIFI is smaller than other players in the same class obviously. To subvert previous heavy shape of players, there is a just angle on the section of HIFIMAN, which contributes to a thinner body that the thinnest part is only 13.1mm thick. This form of body will be conducive to better operations. Precise CNC machining gives a piece of aluminum a solid body and more details. The name plate representing unavailable high definition R2R DAC chip of Burr-Brown PCM1704U-K on the classical dark body, is proving the high performance and specialty of HIFIMAN.
Influence
With the help of audio transmission technology and industrial design method, HIFIMAN R2R2000 won a 2019 IF DESIGN AWARD.
